As our students leave Israel
and continue along the road to pursuing their dreams and goals,
Tomer Devorah will continue to be there for them... |

While
the Tomer Devorah seminary is physically located in Israel,
its impact is alive and thriving in America. The Tomer
Devorah experience does not end on the return flight home.
We maintain continued contact with, and an impact on,
students long after their year in seminary is over. The
Tomer Devorah family remains in touch in several innovative
ways: |
| |
- Alumnae programming – We want the friendships
formed in seminary to have fertile ground in which to
further develop in the years post-seminary. Tomer Devorah
runs shiurim, reunions, and Shabbatonim for graduates in
the U.S., providing opportunities for alumnae to get
together and deepen relationships. Our programs include
having members of our staff travel to America to maintain
and strengthen their ties with our post-sem students as
well.
- Rabbinic support network – Tomer Devorah has
close affiliations with various Rabbanim in the United
States. Over the course of the students’ year in Israel,
these Rabbanim visit the seminary, hold workshops and are
introduced to our students . They are prepared for Tomer
Devorah graduates to call and/or visit them back in
America. When our students have questions or wish to seek
rabbinic advice, they know they will have a familiar face
and a warm reception available to them.
- Professional network – Realizing that most
Tomer Devorah students will attend college or pursue
careers, Tomer Devorah maintains a network of
professionals in various popular fields who are available
for discussion with Tomer Devorah alumnae. These
professionals will give college-age students direction and
advice about their given fields of work.
