Every single individual in Tomer Devorah has contributed to my personal achievements, contributed to my unforgettable experiences, contributed to my standing here today as a proud TD student, but more importantly a proud Jewish girl; and for that I am eternally grateful. I couldn’t be any happier to have spent this year with the incredible staff and amazing girls. I’m happy we got to work through our challenges together and create great memories. Can’t wait to see where this incredible path takes us.

The environment at Tomer Devorah is one that I would describe as eye-opening. Besides for it being a family-like environment, it’s made up of so many different types of people. Every girl and every staff member is a different jagged puzzle piece, but when we are all put together we create a beautiful picture. I think that’s what makes this school such an accepting, open minded place.

At Tomer Devorah, you feel right at home the moment you step foot in the building. All the girls here became friends within the first few days. It’s amazing to see how well everyone gets along, including the shana alef and shana bet girls. I know that for my roommates and I, when we come back from an out-Shabbat, we are so happy to finally see each other and be together again. Tomer Devorah definitely feels like a home to me.

I personally loved Tomer Devorah for the incredible warmth of the seminary. From the moment I got into the airport and had the Rabbis and the teachers, and the madrichot greeting me, I knew I was in the right place and I was somewhere that would take care of me, and help me, and be there for me throughout the whole year… Even now I know that I could e-mail or call any of my teachers and they would be happy to speak with me… I think that is very unique and special.
